You never truly know what you are going to encounter on any given day. We want you to help you hope for the best, but be prepared for the worst.

  • Survival

The wilderness can be a beautiful or terrifying place, it all depends on the lens that you equip yourself with.

Our intent is to provide the skills you will need to be confident, if you find yourself unexpectedly in the wilderness, that you can not only survive, but thrive.

Finding yourself isolated from the conveniences of modern life, it is paramount to know what your true basic needs are and how to fulfill them. We believe Maslow was right with his hierarchy for your mental health and to thrive, but before you can do that you need to survive.

The principles for survival is to concentrate on the basic needs:

    Health - Physical and Mental

Personal Protection - Fire, Shelter, Clothing, and Equipment

    Sustenance - Food and Water

Navigation - Map and Compass, GPS, and Environmental

Personal Recovery - Contacting and facilitating rescue.

p.s. the skills and knowledge from these courses also make you look cool in most every situation.

  • Evasion

Whether you are in the wilderness or in an urban environment, if the socio-political climate is such that you do not want to be identified by the surrounding population it is important that you blend in to the environment.

That may mean actual camouflaged where you literally can’t be seen, trying to look like the local population to you don’t stand out, or possibly something as simple as having the confidence and awareness to not appear to be a likely target.

  • Captivity

Our captivity training instills you with the skills and knowledge required to be aware of an impending situation and to survive initial captivity all the way through resolution whether that be negotiations, rescue or escape.

Initial Capture - Often the most critical and dangerous portion of captivity

Transportation - This may occur multiple times during a captivity event Awareness of your surroundings is the most crucial part of this phase.

Detention - Knowing your captors and their goals will help you interact appropriately and increase your chance for survival and reduce the threat of violence

Resolution - Whether it is a negotiated release, a rescue operation, or you are able to escape, there are several things that need to be considered and accomplished to make any of these options possible
